Hello and a warm welcome. Treat yourself to a short break at the Schlei and the Baltic Sea. Use our "lütte Nest", which was completely renovated in 2019/2020 and has only 6 suites. Unwind, relax in our huge garden and enjoy the fresh sea air. With us you have the opportunity to do so. Strengthen yourself with a fresh and regional breakfast with homemade rolls. Treat yourself to a walk on the beach, whether the sun tickles your nose or the wind blows in your face, it's the start of a relaxing time with us.

Individually designed suites in a spacious ambience, rural and very quiet location with short distances to the Schlei and the Baltic Sea, a delicious and personally composed breakfast and plenty of space in the park-like garden and the Nordic sea air. Arrive, feel comfortable and enjoy your time out.

Dat Lütte Nest offers you 6 completely renovated, spacious, hyggelig and individually designed suites. Each suite with its own terrace to the spacious garden. Here you can relax and feel good.

There is no better way to start the day. In the morning, an individually put together a la carte breakfast. Homemade rolls, homemade jams, honey from our own bees and much more.

Interesting facts about the little nest

Our Bed & Breakfast is located on the Schwansen peninsula in the district of Brodersby - Höxmark. Höxmark has 30 inhabitants and is rural. Our B&B is very quiet, surrounded by fields and idyllically in the countryside. The Schwansen region is a peninsula in northern Schleswig-Holstein (between Schlei and Eckernförde Bay). In the northwest, beyond the Schlei, lies the town of Kappeln, in the south Eckernförde. Höxmark is located between Karby and Schönhagen, a long stretch of town on the Ostseestraße. It is almost two kilometers to Schönhagen and the Baltic Sea, where there is a spacious beach, bays and picturesque cliffs. The tourist center in the region is Kappeln. The former fishing village has been spruced up with a harbour, jetty, fishing boats, old town and promenade.

Overnight in the lütte Nest

The B&B has 6 suites. Each suite has been completely renovated in 2019/2020, has a cozy design and is equipped with a comfortable bed. Each room has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower and an exit to its own terrace and views and access to the spacious park-like garden or over the fields. W-Lan is available everywhere in the house (incl.). Use by more than 2 people, an extra bed or an additional bed is not possible. A flat screen TV is available in every room. All prices quoted are per room and day and include a rich breakfast. A visitor's card can be bought, but it doesn't have to be (Höxmark is not in the Schönhagen visitor's tax area). Our library is equipped with a fully automatic coffee machine, a kettle (+ various types of tea), and a refrigerator with cold drinks.

Hauke and Ole are approx. 38 m² in size and has its own terrace, its own spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, a box spring bed (180 x 200), its own cozy living area, a desk, a small fridge (24 liters), a Bluetooth radio and a flat screen TV. Hauke and Ole faces west with a view of the park-like garden.

Junior-Suite "Fiete", "Svenja", "Imke" and "Jule"

Furnishing

Fiete is approx. 31 m² in size, has its own terrace, its own bathroom with a window and a walk-in shower. Fiete has a 1.80 x 2.00 meter box spring bed and has its own sleeping area and a flat screen TV. Fiete faces east with a view of the garden and fields.

Svenja is approx. 29 m² in size, has its own terrace, its own spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and a box spring bed (1.80 x 2.00 meters). Svenja has its own sleeping area and a seating area with a flat screen TV. Svenja faces east with a view of the garden and fields.

Imke is approx. 30 m² in size, has its own terrace, its own bathroom with a walk-in shower and an iron double bed (1.80 x 2.00 meters). The sleeping and sitting area are separated. There is a flat screen TV and a desk. Imke faces east with a view of the garden and fields.

Jule is approx. 36 m² and has its own terrace, a spacious bathroom with a window and a walk-in shower, a bed with a comfortable height (180 x 200), a comfortable seating area, a small secretary and a flat screen TV. Jule faces west with a view of the park-like garden.

Furnishing

In our library you will find a fully automatic coffee machine, a kettle and many different types of tea. Everything 24/7 included in the room price. Crockery, cutlery and glasses are available if you bring your own cake or a fish sandwich. There is also a fridge with cold drinks (water, soft drinks, wine, beer) to take away. Billing according to consumption.

Just under 2 kilometers from Lütten Nest. The Baltic Sea resort of Schönhagen on the Schwansen Peninsula, the picturesque, family-friendly holiday resort with a fantastically white Baltic Sea beach. Schönhagen is away from mass tourism.

We live our dream

The desire for a bed & breakfast arose on a trip to South Africa. Lovingly furnished rooms with personal service inspired us there on our round trip in every small and large town. And as 2 northerners - born and raised here, we are finally back home. Your host Sven is a trained hotel manager, the hostess Ute studied agriculture and marketing - and both are responsible for all large and small matters relating to the B&B. Sven keeps the house in good shape and Ute bakes small and large rolls for your breakfast in her free time. The spacious garden is looked after and cared for by mum and the two of us.
